The Ties of Solidarity

What the well-dressed Begunto member is wearing these days: his demands on his (or her) dress-code regulation tie. These “4.6″ ties were created by union labour in Kanagawa. Available in a variety of colours. To order yours, contact begunto1@yahoo.com

  • Now that 4.6 is a taboo number at Berlitz, does anyone know if there are any other numbers that management intends to ban usage of in the workplace?

  • We might have to ask the tie to say 5 for down here in Kansai. A vote was taken on Saturday to push ahead with the 5 minute break payment and we will be revving things up soon. Hopefully there will be an article on our webpage in the next few days and then fliers to follow.

  • Belle on Wheels Rolled again today in Tokyo. Supporting striking members in two LCs and cruising the streets doing ‘Drive By Demos’ at others which were less accessible for parking. There will be visuals coming up soon!
