The Union is meeting with Management at the Tokyo Labor Commission to discuss the progress being made in the Appeals Court in terms of Mediation. The next Labor Commission is on July 30th, 11 AM at Tocho Building (Shinjuku West Side)on the 34th floor. Feel free to attend and observe.

The Union won the court case in Feb. 2012, but has been asked by Berlitz Management to enter into mediation. The next Court date (regarding the appeal) is July 5th at 11:30 AM at Kasumigaseki Tokyo Civil Court, room 808.
Michelle English’s court case against Berlitz based on wrongful dismissal based on discrimination continues. Her next court session is on August 1st, 2012 at Kasumigaseki Tokyo Civil Court 10:00 AM in Room 620.
