About Us

History

Berlitz General Union Tokyo was established on June 30. 1995 by non-English language teachers. Those founding members envisioned BEGUNTO to be a way for employees of Berlitz to work together to have a voice in shaping the future of the company.

Achievements

Year after year, Berlitz makes changes to the work rules and policies in an effort to improve the day-to-day operations and the overall performance and profitability of the company. But when those proposed changes have a negative impact of the employees of the company, Begunto steps in and negotiates with management to find solutions that work to benefit both sides.
